Entry for October 17, 2006
Hi Everyone,
I have a few issues that I felt needed to be addressed by the captains and the players of all 4 divisions: 1. If you have changed divisions from last season, please be sure to either (a) use the envelopes provided in your packet for this season or (b) write your new division on the old envelope. This makes sorting alot easier, thank you! 2. Please fill out your envelope completely, I do use the front in entering your scores! 3. Ok, this may be alittle nit picky but, with 4 divisions its necessary. Please try to put the least amount of one's as possible in your envelope. The last few weeks I've been overrun with ones, I bet your bar would appreciate the change. 4. Please write the first and LAST name of any subs playing. Some teams are not writing any names, which makes things very confusing because I don't know if the player change is a sub or a new player. 5. Please write "A" OR "B" if you have more than one team at the same bar in your division! If you are playing a team that has more than one team playing out of that bar, please write "A" or "B" for that team. 6. Please finish your tallying at the top of your scoresheet. I've had alot of teams not mark the last 1 or 2..sometimes three games at the top of the scoresheet. The tally at the top is the main score keeping area I use to input data, please help me to keep your games won correct! 7. Last week we received a complaint form stating a team was badgering another team because they thought that team shouldn't be in the division we placed them in and escalated into something physical. The placement of teams are done by myself, Larry Onstott, and Jack Daniels (my husband, not the liquor). If you have any questions or comments regarding the placement of teams for this season, please feel free to contact any of us to discuss. DO NOT DIRECT YOUR COMMENTS TO THE TEAM IN QUESTION! The ONLY time a team has any say as to which division they are in, is if a team is going down and they request to stay in the same division. Let me add that everyone is doing a wonderful job making sure the fees are current. As of last week I haven't had any late or non-payment of fees! I think that's awesome and really saves me so much time and effort expended in bookkeeping. I'm able to apply that time to other things I've started for you, such as the website and the player win percentages. If you have any questions, or comments, please feel free to contact me. 2006-10-18 01:42:43 GMT
